Every GO Staff, Volunteer, or GO Team Participant is required to fundraise for their mission trips. If you have the means to pay for your mission trip on your own, we still encourage you to raise 40% so that you have a team of people who will be praying for you as well. Our desire is for you to be covered in prayer the entire time you are on the mission field. If you choose to pay for your mission trip, you will be asked to have signed letters or emails from a minimum number of people for the number of days of your mission who agree to pray for you while you are on your mission, specific days/times would be great. Again, this is so you are covered in prayer! Without that covering, you put your entire team is at risk. We hope you understand our thought process here. We also believe it is a great way for others to be involved with GO Teams (see note below).
We provide training for fundraising, and work with you to see your financial goal met for your mission trip. We view fundraising as an opportunity to invite others to join you on your GO Team without needing to be present. Many who would like to GO simply can not. Give them the opportunity to send you!
Nakuru, Kenya
Construction for Orphanage
CrossPower Agape Ministry has requested GO send a construction team to install chainlink fencing around their orphanage property in order to keep predators out and keep the orphans, workers, livestock, and crops safe. Future GO Teams will enjoy this safety as well.
